So what happened with the Ulthwe Mod?

Yeah I feel like crap if I over-stayed my edits of IW, DG, LotD, and 13th. I don't want to lose any of you guys as fellow vet DoW1 modding friends. I want to make this right and help you guys develop these 4 projects and other with the modding knowledge I now possess having worked on them.

What I have on all four of these projects is something that will allow us to move things forward much faster than you expect. They are not public releasable as they still contain assets that are placeholders and obviously older content which may or not be acceptable nowadays since we're all better artists now since those '05-'07 days.

I do not want to harbour any bad feelings -- I've been in this game too long especially in DoW1 Adv. AI for so long and because we lost so many good modders I felt I wanted to branch out and become a more universal DoW1 modder with many more talents than just AI. I can do everything now except for Adv. 3d/OE/FX.

Together as a team we can do anything now -- we're not limited except for the game engine.

I don't want to lose you guys as modding friends over this -- your friendship means too much to me and we're stronger as a team together.

Seems you seem to have suffered from total memory fade, I've opened up the old forums above (except Black Legion and inner inner forums you were never privy to).

Yes, these do go back years but for most people that has little affect. I haven't been on Revora AI forums for years but remember that there was an AI team and that it wasn't just you producing the Skirmish AI Mods.

You'll see that you posted in well over 100 posts. You were active in scores of treads that me, Steve, Mel, Grim and others posted in.

How can you forget all that?

The trouble with you is you beleive your own propaganda so much you may actually end up beleiving it yourself, lol.

I'll leave it up to others to make up their own mind whether you knew there were others active in WoC. The forums speak for themselves.

If you like I still have all our old emails, hundreds of them. Maybe I'll start copying and posting these all on here for people's amusement.

Well I'm turning 40years old and with my schedule I sometimes forget. I got maybe too much going on (yer a family man too so you understand the deal).

So are we going to re-jump start these projects again? You have time for this as you had partial-time available to help BA this last year or so? Stevo is the man for BA work. I'll find time here to help as always this is my passion.

At any rate Thud "loads of silly errors " dont insult someone who is not around it all gets back sooner or later. Mate you knew without a doubt who was on the WOC team as you knew LOTD and 13th were mine. You knew without a doubt Danimator was also a point of contact and co mod leader if he has been active all this time then you have no excuse using my absence to justify anything.

When both Dani and I were suffering burnout I asked you to put in contact with me people who would advance the vision not my "vision" actually it was Ricochet Vison originally and his mandate was simple as close to the codex as possible so that's easy to follow. The people emailed me were either newbies with little skills or wanted to cut it up for their own mods or completely change it to suit their "vision". Obviously no one suited the job decription because no one got the builds.

New content well code fx icons some models ui ucs etc etc etc You knew models were our big concern we needed a lot of new ones for DG we could use placeholders and publically available ones for IW plus there are one or 2 from in there from other mods with permission asked of course. Textures fo IW were mostly Steves work and a brilliant job to so much so we didnt need much for IW.

If you cleaned up 13th and Legion of the damned then by all means let me see what you did I am not adverse to seeing them get released but I will not see them be used by other mods to be cut up. Call it dog in a manger syndrome. As for WOC you have no standing with that at all unless agreed to be the team. FYI I am 51 this year age does not excuse a lapse of judgement.

Just apologise Thud you overstepped the line for whatever reason. If the guys are still passionate about WOC let them be.

Now to Dani Chainz Steve and all the others big sorry from me for not keeping in contact no excuse besides apathy modding aside I still consider you guys good friends just wish yous werent all on the other side of the globe. I have plenty of spare room if any of you want to come to Australia

Yeah I apologize for overstepping and perhaps being stupidly ignorant about who the actual team was. However, I always treated you, Grim, as team-lead, but somewhere I figured Dani, Stevo, and others had a say in this project. I suppose I was blind/lazy to figure out the major players when I decided this year to move the stuff forward. Its done now and I love the result but its a team-effort but I am unclear do you guys want to continue this?

Not much happened in terms of overall feel with IW, DG, and LotD except cleanup of many things like some icons, UCS, AI, balance, SS-ready.. 13th is also a lot better now and quite a gem really. Hard to balance but the gameplay you guys put into 13th is still there but.. evolved.

Anyway, I want to make things better: I've invested too much devotion and friendship with you guys to have it tumble asunder.

I kinda taken a back that Grim is back.. how did you know man to come back all these 2+ years at this moment? I certainly needed ya and your work. I gather you don't have time to mod no more right? I'd understand if not.

OK let me get one thing straight I am not back. I am totally uninterested in having 100's of hours of work be shitcanned by pimple faced teenage dipshits who cant read a text file of even unpack a rar file ......oops amazing how the agro of those times so easily comes to surface. I am not back I was appraised of the situation by other party's and thought I could calm you guys down before it blows out of all proportion. I will not try to influence the team other than encourage them to continue as I would like to see things finish but all descions as to the mod is in their hands.

As for Legion of the Damned and 13th well like I said provide a download link and I will try them out.

As for the Mods, since Thud is dissing all the time and work I put into WoC I'm not interested in any kind of cooperation at the moment, I'll see how I feel in a few weeks if his attitude changes.

For now I still think the Mod is ours and he should stop work on it. The only reason he has the Modat all is so he could do the ai for it. If it was anyone else there wouldn't have access to the Mod and be able to abuse the situation like he has.

Space Wolves, 13th Company and Legion of the Damned is none of my business of course, sorry I didn't help out there but my early kitbashing skills weren't up to it.

Anyway, on this happy note I'll send you an email and play catchup.

Ok Legion of the Damned is out to Grim for first inspection. 13th is being released to you chaps in 1-2 days. Next will be Death Guard and Iron Warriors by the end of the week. Where should I be posting those? Grim has LotD and is looking at it. Can we go private with all this?

What happened with Stevo? He ok as he's been gone for a while. Dani I know is about so thats great. Ready to move forward with this stuff.
